Let’s train our officers in areas needed to eliminate fear of going into any area during an active shooter incident. Let’s train in Ethics, policy and procedure, standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and last but not least, training in cuffing or making a safe arrest, and keeping the public safe. We can visit other areas of note such as: traffic stops and approaching the stopped vehicle and backing up other officers while they are on a suspicious vehicle with multiple occupants.
